NCLF is a not for profit (501c-3) foundation owned and operated by the Lions of North Carolina. Managed by a board of directors elected by the Lions of North Carolina, the Foundation raises and distributes funds and provides a wide variety of services for the blind and visually impaired.
NCLF funds are raised by the Lions of North Carolina through "Candy Days", "White Cane" projects, the Sale of "Camp Dogwood" raffle tickets, and a Memorial/Honorarium Program.
The following is a partial list of services provided by the North Carolina Lions Foundation.

Clinical Eye Research NCLF Clinical Eye Research Program supports two major areas, The NC Lions Clinical Research Division at Wake Forest University, and the NC Lions Pediatric Eye Clinic at Duke University Eye Center.

Hearing
Humanitarian / White Cane activities are a major source of funds for the NCLF. Public and private participation in a variety of events provide funds for NCLF projects
